Ubisoft Sofia will devote their participation in a global four-day charity gaming tournament, Ubisoft Charity Jam, to Holiday Heroes. Developers from the studio in Sofia, whose job is to create some of the most legendary games worldwide, have embraced the goal to raise 5, 000 EUR under this project and help Holiday Heroes bring about a real Christmas celebration for 300 families with children in need.
Ubisoft Sofia’s team will join the global charity endeavor with an hour-long online live stream, starting 2 p.m. on September 24. They will play different games they love, but… placed in unusual and funny situations. The show will be broadcasted on Ubisofts’s Twitch channel for everybody to enjoy.
No groovy event can go without a good presenter. While Ubisoft Charity Jam’s global host is yet to be announced, the organizers just revealed who will be commenting live from the studio in Sofia. And that will be none other than the well-respected by Bulgarian gamers Roro Kavaldjiev from NextTV, who has been part of Holiday Heroes since the very beginning.
Ubisoft Charity Jam is the biggest social initiative on the charity agenda of the gaming-industry leader. Each year, since 2011, Ubisoft has been setting up a plethora of fund-raisers to support causes its employees believe in—all across the globe. For the first time this year Ubisoft Charity Jam is giving the worldwide gaming community the chance to participate in the initiative as well, and the main selection rule in the choice of organizations to support is transparency.
